For the Entrepreneur

"For the Entrepreneur"

You will be misunderstood. Most significant figures of history never were appreciated in their time...

This may include your family, close friends, and the general public. You must be okay with that...

Your business is a "full-time job". Don't let someone else's 9-to-5 perspective diminish your self-worth...

It really doesn't matter where your "office" is located at. Could be in a house, your car, the-garage-that-car-used-to-be-parked-in, a coffee shop, a storefront, or a skyscraper...

The pay can be feast or famine. This will require a discipline of good stewardship...

Take on a mindset of prosperity, not poverty. Wealth cannot come by holding onto money, but by putting it in the right places...

You will struggle. Remind yourself that it can (and will) get better from here...

Success may accompany you along the way. But don't stop to celebrate for too long...

Learn from what worked. Fine tune your pitch and create momentum for even more wins down the road...

Don't be afraid of new opportunities or knocking on a few doors. You can never grow by staying as you are, where you are...

Work smarter AND harder. Your standard of "hard work" might be skewed by previous experience...

Prioritize rest and time away. Consider this as a necessary part of your work schedule to help clear your head...

Create unique, but needed products and services for the marketplace you serve. Be careful not to chase trends, but look for solutions where there are none...

Sacrifices have to be made. But compromises should be avoided at all costs...

Keep your eye on the prize. Know your "why"...

When you feel like giving up, don't (at least not yet). Life is full of hard soil that must be tilled before it can produce...

Look for others that will labor with you. You need their support, encouragement, and accountability...

Fear is the mind-killer. The only thing that can truly hold you back is yourself...
